5 Curlew, The Cove
This is Number 5 Curlew at The Cove in Brixham. It's a flat, part of a modern block built into the hill in Fishcombe. You get a parking space, which is a big plus round here, and a small patio area out the front with a table.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's clean, comfortable, and everything works, but it's not luxurious. The view from the front is the main thing. You look straight out over the sea.
The block has a shared indoor swimming pool. It's nothing huge, but it's there if you want it. The flat itself has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair.
You're about a five minute walk down the hill to Fishcombe Cove. It's a pebble beach, good for swimming. Brixham harbour is a bit further, maybe 15-20 minutes on foot. It's a proper working fishing port. You can get boat trips from there.
If you're driving, Berry Head is just a few minutes away. Good for a walk and a cuppa at the cafe. For a day out, you've got Paignton Zoo about 20 minutes away, or Kents Cavern in Torquay is about half an hour. The South West Coast Path runs right past, so you can walk for miles either way.
