Lyndale
Lyndale is a terraced house in Brixham. It sleeps four in two double bedrooms. There's one bathroom.
It's got a 3 Star rating, as it's comfortable and clean but not modernised throughout. The layout is simple: living room at the front, kitchen-diner at the back, and stairs up to the bedrooms and bathroom.
The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. There's WiFi and a TV. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you have dogs. You can park two cars on the drive.
You can walk into Brixham town centre and the harbour in about ten minutes. It's downhill going in, uphill coming back. The South West Coast Path runs right through the town for walks.
Within a 30 minute drive you've got a few beaches. Goodrington Sands and Broadsands are sandy and have facilities. For a proper open coast walk, Berry Head is nearby and managed by the Berry Head National Nature Reserve. Paignton and Torquay are along the coast that way too.
The other way, towards Kingswear, you can catch the passenger ferry over to Dartmouth. Totnes and Dartmoor are both about a 40 minute drive if you fancy a change from the coast.
We allow up to two well-behaved dogs. Bedding and towels are included.
If you're planning trips, the National Trust and English Heritage websites are useful for finding their properties nearby.
