Woodbine House

Woodbine House is in Kingswear. It's up a steep lane, but you get the view of the river Dart from it. Most rooms look out over the water.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and everything works.

There's a full-width balcony off the living area. It gets the afternoon and evening sun. You can sit out there and watch the boats.

You can walk down to the ferry point. It's about a ten minute walk, but it's steep coming back up. The ferry goes over to Dartmouth every fifteen minutes or so. That's useful if you don't want to drive and find parking.

If you like walking, the South West Coast Path is right there. The walk to Brixham is a good one, but it's hilly. You can also walk to Coleton Fishacre, which is a National Trust garden. Their site is here: National Trust Coleton Fishacre.

In Dartmouth, which is across the river, there's the castle and the naval college. The Dartmouth Steam Railway goes from Kingswear to Paignton. It's a nice trip along the coast.

The house has a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Sorry, no pets allowed.
