Heath Lodge

Heath Lodge is in Brixham, on the hill above the harbour. It's a two bedroom end of terrace house that sleeps four. You get a parking space, which is useful down here.

The main thing about it is the view. You can see right across Torbay from most of the windows. It's south facing, so you get the sun on the patio out the back.

Inside, it's been done up to a good standard. It's light because of the windows. The bathroom is upstairs. The kitchen has a dishwasher and there's a washing machine in the utility bit. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped.

Breakwater Beach is about a twenty minute walk downhill. The town centre and the harbour are about the same. The walk back up is steep, that's just Brixham. Some people drive down to the harbour to park.

For a day out, you can get a ferry from Brixham harbour over to Torquay or Paignton. The South West Coast Path runs right through town if you like walking. Dartmouth is about half an hour's drive. Dartmoor is a bit further, maybe forty minutes to the edge.

The facilities are all there: WiFi, TV, bedding and towels are included. No pets. It's a straightforward place with a very good view.
