Melville Place is a Georgian townhouse we've got in Torquay. It's one of a terrace. You get the keys to the whole house.
It sleeps up to four, but it's really for two most comfortably. There's one proper double bedroom upstairs. For the other two people, there's a sofa bed in the living room. That's downstairs. There are two bathrooms, one upstairs and a small one downstairs.
The living room is lovely and light. Big windows with a view of the sea. It's a proper Georgian room, so the ceilings are high and it feels spacious. It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's clean and everything works, but it's not a boutique hotel. The kitchen is fine for cooking a meal.
You're about a ten minute walk from the harbour and the main bit of town. There's a pub not far, maybe a fifteen minute walk. The sea is closer than that, just down the hill.
If you want to drive out, Babbacombe Model Village is about ten minutes away. Cockington Country Park is nice for a walk, that's ten minutes as well. For a bigger day out, Dartmoor is about a forty minute drive. The South West Coast Path runs right along the seafront here.
Facilities: there's a small patio garden out the back, TV, WiFi, all bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. Parking is on the street. There's usually a space outside.
