The Hide is a cottage in Abbotskerswell. It's a village, so there are houses around, but it's quiet. You get a small walled garden out the front with a table and chairs. It's a sun trap.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. One bedroom has a double bed. The other has bunk beds. The bunk room is quite small, fine for kids but maybe a bit tight for adults. The bathroom has a jacuzzi bath. There's a separate utility cupboard with a washer and dryer.
Inside, it's all on one level except for a couple of steps up into the living area. The kitchen, living and dining space is open plan. It has a sofa, a table, a Smart TV, and the kitchen has what you need. The front door is wheelchair accessible, but the steps inside mean it's not fully wheelchair friendly throughout.
There's a pub about a three minute walk away. They do food. The village is handy for getting to places. Newton Abbot is two miles for shops. The coast at Teignmouth or Shaldon is about a fifteen minute drive. Totnes is twenty minutes one way, Torquay or Paignton about twenty the other.
For walks, you can head out into the lanes from the door. For a proper day out, Dartmoor is roughly half an hour's drive. The South Devon Coast Path is easily reached.
Facilities: WiFi, TV, washing machine, tumble dryer, bedding and towels are included. No pets.
