Blue Belgrave
Right, Blue Belgrave. It's in Torquay on Belgrave Road. It’s the top two floors of the building, so you go up the external stairs at the side to get in.
It sleeps twelve but there are only three bedrooms. That’s because there are sofa beds in the living areas. It’s set up for groups, friends or big families who don’t mind sharing. Two bathrooms, one has a bath with a shower over it, the other is just a shower room.
It’s a 4 Star place. That means it’s been done up to a good standard. Everything’s clean and works. The kitchen is new, there’s a dishwasher. There’s a Smart TV and wi-fi. The back is a private decked area, it’s enclosed.
The location is the main thing. You walk down the hill, about five or ten minutes, and you’re at the harbour and the main beach. All the restaurants and bars are there. The Princess Theatre is there too if you want to see a show.
Torre Abbey Mini Golf is literally next door. The proper golf course is a few minutes away. Fishing is possible from the harbour or you can book a boat.
If you drive, Paignton and Brixham are close. Babbacombe Model Village is good for kids, that’s just north. The main road out of Torquay can get busy, so allow a bit more time to get to places like Dartmouth or Salcombe, but they are within an hour.
The property is wheelchair accessible to get in the front door, but it’s all on one level inside from there. No steps between rooms.
Bedding and towels are included. Parking is on the street, you can usually find a space nearby. No pets allowed, sorry.
