Hookhills Holiday Home
Hookhills is a detached house on a quiet road in Paignton. It sleeps eight, in four double bedrooms. There's one shower room upstairs. It's got a 3 Star rating, so everything works and it's clean, but it's not luxury. The garden is fully enclosed, so it's safe for kids.
The living room is at the front. It's got sofas, a TV, and an electric fire. The kitchen has what you need. There's a separate dining room, which is handy when there's a few of you. The stairs are fine.
You're less than a mile from the sea. Broadsands and Goodrington beaches are the closest. Both are sandy and good for families. There's a pub and places to eat about three quarters of a mile away.
Paignton has the usual seaside things. The pier, the zoo, that sort of thing. The Dartmouth Steam Railway goes from Paignton to Kingswear, which is a nice trip. Dartmouth Steam Railway.
You can get to a few places within half an hour. Torquay is next door, for more shops and restaurants. Brixham is the working fishing port. Dartmouth is up the river. Totnes is inland, it's a bit different. Dartmoor is about 20 miles away, so you can be up on the moor in under 40 minutes if you fancy a walk. Dartmoor National Park.
What's here: a washing machine, a cot and highchair if you need them, bedding and towels are included, there's WiFi, and parking on the drive. No pets, sorry.
