This is Chalet Peace. It's a bungalow on the Norton Park Holiday Village site near Dartmouth. The site is family-run and quiet. The chalet sits at the edge of it, so you look out over fields and hills from the front. It's very peaceful.
It's been done up recently. Sleeps four in two bedrooms, with one shower room. It's clean and modern inside. The living area is open plan. There's an electric fire for background warmth.
You get the whole chalet to yourselves. Outside your door there's a grass area with a table and chairs. The site itself has 22 acres of shared grounds to walk around. Parking is right next to the chalet, and there's an electric vehicle charger if you need it.
Dartmouth is about a ten minute drive. It's a proper working harbour with boats coming and going. Good for crabbing, pottering around the shops, or getting a boat trip. Salcombe is about half an hour's drive over the ferry. The nearest beach for sand is probably Blackpool Sands, which is about 15 minutes away.
For walking, the South West Coast Path is easily accessible. The Dart Valley Trail is good too if you want riverside and woodland without the big coastal hills. For a wider view of what's around, National Trust Devon and the South Devon National Landscape sites are useful.
Facilities in the chalet: TV, WiFi, washing machine. All bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is welcome. It's a 4 Star rating.
