This is Gemstone Cottage. It's in Brixham, up on the hill near the Churston side. It's a modern house, so you don't get any wonky floors or ancient fireplaces.
It sleeps five across two bedrooms. One room has a double bed, and the other has a double plus a single bunk on top. There's one bathroom with a bath and shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's in good, clean order.
You can bring dogs, up to two.
The living area is open plan. There's a big sofa and an electric fire for when it's chilly. Off the main bedroom, there's a little snug bit with a TV and an old Xbox. Good if you've got kids with you.
You've got a parking space right outside, which is a real help in Brixham. From there it's about a 20-minute walk down into the harbour, or you can drive it in five. The walk back is uphill.
Brixham itself is a proper working fishing port. The harbour is full of boats and there are plenty of places to get fish and chips. You can get a boat from there over to Torquay if you fancy it. The South West Coast Path runs right through the town for walking.
For facilities, it's got the main things: WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher and washing machine. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding is included. There's a pub a few minutes walk away.
