This is Rock House Apartment in Torquay. It's a one-bedroom flat that sleeps three, but it's really best for a couple. You get a 4 Star rating, which means it's well looked after.
The main thing is the view. It's up a steep hill, so you're looking right out over the town and the harbour. There's a terrace out front with a table and chairs. It gets the sun in the morning. You can sit out there with a coffee.
Inside, it's all one open space. The living room, kitchen and double bed are in the same room. There's a proper wall separating the bathroom and the single bunk room, so you do get a bit of privacy. It's compact but it has everything you need: TV, wifi, a shower, and the bedding and towels are included.
You can walk down into Torquay centre, but be warned it's a very steep walk back up. Torre Abbey Sands beach is about a twenty minute walk down the hill. For other beaches like Meadfoot or Oddicombe, you're better off driving. There's parking for one car at the property.
You're allowed one well-behaved dog. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
If you want to explore, Babbacombe Model Village is about ten minutes by car. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline nearby, like the headland at Berry Head. Dartmouth and Totnes are both about a half hour drive away if you fancy a trip out.
This apartment is the top floor of a bigger house called Rock House. You can book the whole house together if you've got a larger group.
