The Arbour Folly
The Arbour Folly is a single storey lodge for two people, at the end of the lane in Abbotskerswell. It's detached. You've got your own terrace with a table and chairs.
Inside it's all open plan. The living area, kitchen and bed are in one room. There's a separate bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and modern, with good insulation so it's warm.
We allow up to two dogs. There's a hose outside with warm water for washing them off. We also live on site and can help with dog training if needed, just ask.
The village has a shop and a pub, both about a five minute walk. The pub does food.
For getting out, you're in a good spot. Totnes is about a ten minute drive. It's got the castle, shops and the river. The coast at Torquay or Shaldon is about twenty minutes. Dartmoor is maybe twenty five minutes to the nearest edge. You can be at Haytor or on the high moor pretty quickly.
Other things nearby: there's a golf course just outside the village. Fishing on the River Dart. Horse riding places a short drive away. Buckfast Abbey is about fifteen minutes by car.
Facilities: There's parking right next to the lodge. WiFi. TV. Bedding and towels are included. The kitchen has a hob, oven, fridge and microwave.
