The Copper Loft is a first-floor apartment in Windermere. It's for two people, one bedroom with an en-suite shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped.
You come up the stairs to the front door. Inside it's all open plan: kitchen, dining area, and sitting area together. There's a smart TV and WiFi. The bedroom has a super kingsize bed. It's a compact space but it works for a couple.
You're right in the middle of Windermere. The train station is about five minutes walk. Shops, cafés, and pubs are all a short stroll away. There's a pub within a mile.
A good thing about staying here is you get free access to the Choices Leisure Club. That's about a mile away. It has a gym, swimming pool, sauna, and steam room.
For getting out, you can walk up to Orrest Head from the town. The view from the top is the classic Lake District view. You can catch the bus down to Bowness for the lake, or to Ambleside. Both are less than ten minutes by car. Brockhole, which is the visitor centre for the lake, is just down the road. If you want a proper walk, the trails around Loughrigg or up to Wansfell are good.
Further afield, within about half an hour's drive, you've got Grizedale Forest, Hawkshead, and Coniston Water. Keswick is a bit further, maybe forty minutes depending on the traffic.
The facilities are pretty comprehensive. Washing machine, dishwasher, bedding and towels are all included. There's parking on site.
