Melody
Melody is a first floor apartment in the middle of Bowness. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean.
The main thing is the location. You're a two minute walk from the lake shore and all the shops and cafes. It's handy, but it's Bowness, so it can be busy. The parking is on site, which is a plus.
From the pier, you can get boats across the lake. The steamer to Ambleside is a good trip. If you drive, Grasmere is about twenty minutes away. The gingerbread shop there is famous. Wordsworth's house in Cockermouth is a bit further, maybe forty minutes.
For walking, Orrest Head in Windermere gives you the whole view of the lake without too much effort. The proper fells are a short drive. You can get to the foot of the Kentmere horseshoe or the lower slopes of the Fairfield range in under half an hour.
Inside, it's a modern apartment. There's WiFi, a TV, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
