Lama Lodge
Lama Lodge is a one-bedroom place near Hawkshead. It's for two people, one dog allowed.
It's an apartment-style lodge. Open plan, so the bed, kitchenette and table are all in one room. There's a separate shower room. It's got a three-star rating, which means it's clean and has what you need.
The main thing is the doors at the front. They open right up and you've got your own private bit outside with a table and a fire pit. The lodge is in about half an acre of grounds, so it feels quiet.
Hawkshead village is a short walk away. Couple of shops, cafes, pubs. The Beatrix Potter Gallery is there if that's your thing. You can walk to Esthwaite Water from here too.
For getting around, Coniston, Ambleside, Windermere and Bowness are all within half an hour's drive.
It's got parking, WiFi, bedding and towels are included. There's a BBQ outside.
