Hillside
Hillside is in Ambleside. It's an end-of-terrace cottage. It feels quiet but you can walk down into town.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom. One double, one twin. It's got an open plan living area downstairs with the kitchen there too. The rating is 3 Star. It's clean and it works. It's an old place though, so there are low beams in some spots.
The garden is south-facing so it gets the sun. You can see the fells from the windows. The parking is on site, right next to the cottage.
You can walk down to the shops and pubs in about ten minutes. There's a washer, WiFi, and the bedding is provided. No pets.
For days out, you're right in the middle of it all. You can walk straight out onto the fells. Waterhead Pier on Windermere is about a mile for boat trips. Grasmere and Langdale are a short drive away.
