Bielby Lodge is on the White Cross Bay Holiday Park, near Windermere. It's a timber lodge. It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. One has a bath, the other a shower.
The living area is open plan, so it's one big space for the kitchen, dining, and sitting area. It's double glazed and has central heating. The furniture is comfortable, nothing fancy. It's got a 4 Star rating.
Outside, there's a patio and an enclosed garden area. The hot tub is out there, tucked off to the side among some trees. You get that to yourselves.
Being on the holiday park means you've got things on site. There's an indoor swimming pool, a small gym, and a kids' play area. There's a bar and restaurant too, which does evening entertainment sometimes. The lake shore is a short walk away. You can sit on the benches there and watch the boats. It's a good spot.
For arrival, you can get in from 2pm, and you don't have to leave until 10am on your departure day.
Location wise, you're about ten minutes in the car from Ambleside, Windermere, and Bowness. They've got all the shops, cafes, and pubs you'd need. Troutbeck Bridge is even closer, just a couple of miles.
If you want to drive further, the Kirkstone Pass goes over to Ullswater. It's a steep road but the views are good. Coniston, Grasmere, and Keswick are all within about half an hour's drive.
Included in the lodge: bedding, towels, WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine, and parking right outside. No pets allowed. The on-site shop has essentials.
