Staveley Park Studio is a first-floor studio in Staveley. It's part of the old farm barn next to the main house, Staveley Park, which you can also rent. It's for two people only.
It was all done up in 2021, so it's in good condition. It's open plan, so the bed, kitchen and sitting area are all in one room. There's a bathroom off to the side with a shower. The main feature is the wood burner, which is nice in the cooler months.
Outside, there's a small balcony with a table and chairs. It looks out over the gardens towards the Kentmere Valley.
The village of Staveley is very handy. There's a good pub, the Eagle and Child, which does food. The Hawkshead Brewery is here if you like beer. There's a bakery, a butcher, a grocery shop, and a train station. You've got everything you need.
Location wise, it's between Kendal and Windermere. Kendal is about 10-15 minutes away by car. Windermere and Bowness are about the same. It's a quick drive to get onto Lake Windermere for boat trips. For walking, you can start right from the door or drive into the fells. The Lake District National Park site has good walking route ideas.
In terms of facilities, it's got what you'd expect. Parking, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. No pets allowed.
