Staveley Park Studio is in Staveley village. It's a first-floor studio apartment for two people, attached to the main barn. It was done up in 2021.
You've got one big open-plan room with a kingsize bed, a sofa, a dining table, and a kitchen area. There's a wood burner. The bathroom has a good-sized shower cubicle. Outside, there’s a small balcony with a table and chairs overlooking the garden.
The stairs up to it are external, metal ones. They're fine, but something to be aware of.
Staveley itself is handy. You've got a pub, the Hawkshead Brewery tap, a good chip shop, a bakery, a grocer, and a bike shop all in the village. It's a proper working village, not just for tourists.
You're about four miles from Kendal one way and three and a half miles from Windermere the other. It's an easy drive to the lake. The Kentmere Valley starts right here, so you can walk straight from the door.
For facilities: there's parking right there, WiFi, a TV, and bedding and towels are included. No pets.
If you're planning walks or days out, these sites are useful: Lake District National Park and National Trust Lake District.
