This is New House in Windermere. It's a big detached place built in the 90s, on a quiet road that's in the middle of Windermere and Bowness. You can walk to either town in a few minutes.
It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. Takes one dog.
The owners have done it up to a high standard. It's got leather sofas, an open fire, good appliances in the kitchen, and nice bedding. It's a 4 Star property, so it's well-equipped and comfortable.
Outside, there's an enclosed garden and parking.
Inside, you've got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included.
Being between the two towns is useful. You've got shops, pubs, and restaurants in both directions. For the lake, Bowness-on-Windermere is the place to go for boats and the shore.
For walking, you're right in the Lake District. The Lake District National Park site has all the information. For historic houses and gardens nearby, the National Trust page is good. Grasmere, Ambleside, and Hill Top at Sawrey (Beatrix Potter's house) are all within a 30 minute drive.
