Fellmere
Fellmere is just outside Ambleside. It's one of three houses converted from an old hotel, built around 1840. It's semi-detached.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. The furnishing is nice, a lot of it is Laura Ashley. It's comfortable.
The main room is open plan. Kitchen at one end, lounge at the other. There are good views from the lounge windows, looking across the valley towards Wansfell Pike.
Outside, there's a patio right by the house with furniture. The garden then slopes down to another bit we call the secret garden. It's sheltered and gets the sun.
You can walk into Ambleside village. Footpaths start from the door. You're well placed for getting around the Lakes.
For facilities, it's got the normal things: dishwasher, washing machine, wifi, TV. Parking is on site. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
