Langdale Cottage is a semi-detached bungalow in Chapel Stile, over in Great Langdale. It sleeps two with two bedrooms. It's got a 3 Star rating, so think clean and comfortable. Everything is on one level once you're in. The views from the front over the valley are very good.
The living area is open plan. The kitchen is modern and has what you need. There's a table by the window so you can look out while you eat. The carpets are made from Herdwick wool from around here, and the TV sits on a slate shelf.
You get a private parking space. There's a small garden area. Up to two dogs are welcome.
Chapel Stile has a decent village shop for basics. The Wainwrights Inn is about three quarters of a mile away, good for food. A really nice walk is along the river to Elterwater. You can start that from the cottage.
Ambleside is a ten minute drive for more shops and places to eat. Grasmere is about fifteen minutes the other way. You're right in the middle of the fells here, so walks start from the door. The Langdale Pikes are right there. For driving, you're on the A593 so Ambleside, Coniston, and Keswick are all straightforward.
