Langdale Cottage

Langdale Cottage is a semi-detached bungalow in Chapel Stile. It’s up on a bank so you get views down the valley. It’s been done up recently.

It sleeps two people. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. The lounge, kitchen and dining area are all open plan, so it’s one space. It’s a 3 Star place, so it’s comfortable and clean but not luxury. The carpet is made from Herdwick wool from round here.

There’s a private parking space. The garden is yours to use. You can walk everywhere from the door. It’s about three-quarters of a mile to the village shop and the pub.

For walking, you can get straight onto the fells. A nice easy one is the riverside path to Elterwater. Ambleside is about ten minutes by car. From there you can get to Windermere, Grasmere, or Coniston Water easily.

You can bring one dog. Bedding and towels are included. There’s WiFi, a TV, and a dishwasher.
