Long Mynd
Long Mynd is in Ambleside. It's a cottage on the old bobbin mill site, done up in local slate and stone. The grounds are about an acre and a half.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. You can bring one dog.
The cottage is right by Stockghyll Falls. There's pretty woodland and waterfalls. The water runs fast here and there are some steep banks, so you'll want to keep an eye on kids and dogs.
Ambleside village is a short walk away. Less than half a mile. It's got the usual shops, pubs, and restaurants. It still feels like a village.
You're well placed for walking. You can start from the door. Langdale Pikes are about four miles away. Lake Windermere is a mile. Morecambe Bay beaches are about nine miles.
Inside, it's got the things you'd need: a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair.
