Biskey Burrow is a cottage in Bowness. It's a mid-terrace place, stone on the outside. It's about a five minute walk to the middle of town, so you can leave the car.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The layout is over three floors. You walk in and the main living area is down a few steps. The stairs are a typical cottage style, so watch your step.
Downstairs there's a bedroom with a double bed and the bathroom. Upstairs are the other two bedrooms. There's a washing machine and tumble dryer in a utility space. The kitchen is modern. Bedding and towels are included.
You're two or three minutes from the local shop and a couple of pubs. The lake is a ten minute walk. You can hire boats there, or get on the steamer to Ambleside or Lakeside.
Windermere town, which has a train station and a decent supermarket, is about a mile and a half away. For walking, you can head straight out from the door into the fells. For a drive, Grasmere is about half an hour, and Keswick is just over that.
No pets, sorry. There is a cot and highchair if you need them.
