Granton Lodge
Granton Lodge is a detached house in Storrs. It overlooks the gardens of a larger property, so you get a view of the lake between the trees. The sunsets are good from here.
It sleeps four, with three bedrooms. They each have their own bathroom, which is handy. It’s a 4 Star place, so it's well looked after.
Storrs is quiet. You can walk down to the lake from the door. The nearest pub is about a mile away. Bowness is a couple of miles down the road if you need shops or more places to eat.
You’re not far from the ferry for Hawkshead. From there you can get over to Near Sawrey or up towards Coniston. For a walk, you can get onto the Dales Way nearby. The National Trust has a lot of the land around here and their website is useful for planning.
The house has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi and parking. The garden is enclosed. You can bring one dog. Bedding and towels are included.
