Club Cottage

Club Cottage is a two-storey apartment in Bowness on Windermere. It's down a quiet side street but only five minutes' walk from the centre of town.

It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms have their own en-suites, so it works well for a few couples. It's got a 4 Star rating. We had it completely refurbished a few years ago so it's modern and clean.

The living area is open plan with big windows. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking for one car. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.

You can walk to the lake shore in a few minutes. The town has all the usual cafes, pubs, and shops. The World of Beatrix Potter is nearby if that's of interest. For boat trips, you can get Windermere Lake Cruises from Bowness.

For walks, you're right in the Lake District National Park. Ambleside is about a ten minute drive. Grasmere and Coniston are within a half hour. If you want a proper hike, many of the Wainwright fells are within easy reach.

There's a pub about 100 yards away and a shop 250 yards.
