Lake View
It’s called Lake View, which tells you the main thing. It’s a flat in a block on the edge of Bowness. The living room looks southwest over the lake. There are patio doors onto a small balcony and a big window, so you do get that view everyone comes here for.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating, so it’s comfortable and well presented. Everything works.
You can walk down to the lake in about ten minutes. Bowness centre is a ten minute walk the other way. That’s where all the shops, pubs and restaurants are. You can get boat trips from there.
If you want to drive, Ambleside is about ten minutes north. Grasmere is maybe twenty. Coniston is twenty minutes west. Newby Bridge and Fell Foot Park are about fifteen minutes south. All the main things are within half an hour.
What you get: electricity and utilities are included, there’s a shower, a TV, WiFi, bedding and towels are provided, and there’s a parking space for one car. No pets allowed.
