Lake View
Lake View is in Bowness. It's an apartment in a modern block. The main thing is the view across Lake Windermere. The living room faces southwest, so you get the afternoon sun. There are patio doors out to a small balcony and a big window, both facing the lake.
It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. We keep it to a 4 Star standard, so it's comfortable and well equipped. It's clean and tidy.
You can walk down to the lakefront in about ten minutes. Bowness has all the shops, pubs, and cafes you need right there. You can get boat trips from the bay.
For getting out, Ambleside is about ten minutes north by car. Grasmere is maybe twenty minutes further. Coniston is to the west, about a fifteen minute drive. Newby Bridge and Fell Foot Park are south, also about fifteen minutes.
The facilities are what you'd expect: TV, WiFi, parking for one car. All bedding and towels are included. Sorry, no pets.
