Fellfoot Cottage

Fellfoot Cottage is in Staveley. It's a former bobbin worker's cottage, so it's not huge, but it's solid. It sleeps four, two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well looked after.

The stairs are normal cottage stairs, not too bad. The two bedrooms are upstairs, both with king-size beds. They look out over the fields. The bathroom has a shower over the bath.

Downstairs, there's a living room at the front. At the back is the kitchen and a dining table. The kitchen has everything: dishwasher, hob, oven. The back door leads to an outhouse with a washing machine and space for boots and bikes. The garden is up a few steps behind that. It faces east, so it gets the morning sun. It's a nice spot.

Staveley is a small village but it's got a lot. There are two pubs, a village shop, a butchers, cafes, a bakery, and a big cycle shop. The river runs through it.

You can walk or cycle straight into the Kentmere valley from the door. Windermere and Bowness are about ten minutes drive for boat trips and more restaurants. Kendal is about fifteen minutes the other way for bigger shops.

You can bring two dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking, WiFi, and a TV.
