Sprint Lodge
Sprint Lodge is on a farm just outside Burneside. It's a modern, detached lodge built a few years ago. The main thing is the view. The big windows look straight out over the fields, it's very open.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. One has a freestanding bath. It's a 5 Star place, so it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard. There's a wood burner, a dishwasher, and a Nespresso machine.
The access is up a steep path from the parking area. Just something to be aware of if you have lots of luggage or anyone with mobility issues. The garden is enclosed, which is good.
Burneside village has a shop and a pub, both about half a mile away. Kendal is really close, maybe five minutes in the car. That's where you'll find the supermarkets, proper shops, and places to eat.
You're in a good spot for getting to both the Lakes and the Dales. Bowness and Windermere are about 20 minutes drive. For the Yorkshire Dales, Sedbergh is half an hour away. Hawes is a bit further on.
Facilities are all there: parking, wifi, washing machine, cot and highchair available. No pets allowed. All bedding and towels are included.
