Burnthwaite Cottage
Burnthwaite Cottage is in Ings, Cumbria. It's 250 years old and sleeps two in one bedroom. There's one bathroom and you can bring one dog. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The living room and kitchen are upstairs. The owners did that to make the most of the view over the fields. It's a nice view. The walls are very thick, which you'd expect. It's been updated inside but it's still an old cottage. The stairs are steep.
The Watermill pub is about 50 yards away. It's a good pub, it's won awards. Staveley village is two miles south. They've got a bakery, a woodturner, and the Hawkshead Brewery is there. There's good walking from Staveley up the Kentmere Valley.
You're about a ten minute drive from Windermere, Bowness, and Ambleside if you want shops or to go on the lake. The cottage has bike storage if you're cycling. It's a good area for it.
Facilities: there's a small garden, a washing machine, TV, WiFi, and parking right outside. All bedding is included. The electricity is paid for.
