The property is called 'Gone Sailing'. It's in Windermere in the Lake District. It's part of a small row of single-storey cottages.
It sleeps three people. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's clean and functional. The main thing is the view. The whole front looks south directly over Lake Windermere towards the fells. You can see it from the living area.
The cottage sits above the water. To get down to the lake, you go down a small wooded lane. It comes out right at the water's edge, and there's a private jetty there you can use.
It's located between Windermere and Bowness villages. Both are about a mile away. That's where you'll find the shops, pubs, and places to eat. You can walk there, but it is up and down a hill.
Facilities wise: it's open plan inside. There's a TV, WiFi, and parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's a small patio area outside. No pets, sorry.
For planning walks or days out, the Lake District National Park site is useful. The National Trust also has good information for the area.
