High Brow
High Brow is in Bowness on Windermere. It’s a first floor flat on the Quarry Rigg estate. It’s handy for the town centre but you’re set back a bit from the main street, so it’s quieter.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating, so it’s comfortable and modern. The living room looks out towards the lake. You can walk down to the water in about ten minutes.
The flat has a dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking on site. Bedding is included and there’s a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets.
You’ve got everything in Bowness on your doorstep. Shops, pubs, restaurants are all less than a minute's walk. You can easily avoid using the car. There’s a cinema and the World of Beatrix Potter is here.
If you do drive, you can get to a lot within half an hour. Ambleside, Hawkshead, and the Lakes Aquarium at Lakeside are all close. Grizedale Forest is good for walking or cycling. Further out, you’ve got Cartmel, Kendal, or Ulverston.
