High Brow
High Brow is a first floor apartment on Quarry Rigg in Bowness. It's central, so you can walk to the shops and places to eat in a couple of minutes.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms, with one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and everything works. The living area is open plan and has a view down to the lake. Windermere is about a ten minute walk away.
There's a pub about fifty yards from the door. The town has the usual cafes and restaurants, plus a small cinema. The World of Beatrix Potter attraction is here if you've got children.
For a day out, you can drive to the Lakes Aquarium or the Lakeland Motor Museum near Newby Bridge. The steam railway is there too. Grizedale Forest is about a twenty minute drive for walking or cycling. Ambleside and Hawkshead are within half an hour.
The apartment has a dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding is included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is on site.
