Bowness Apartment 2 is a ground floor flat in Bowness on Windermere. It's modern inside, it was all redone in 2022. Sleeps two, in one bedroom with a kingsize bed. It's got a 4 Star rating.
It's an easy walk into the centre of Bowness, five minutes maybe. You can leave the car in the allocated space at the back. Inside, it's open plan. The kitchen's white gloss. The sofa's leather and one end reclines. There's a big TV on the wall. The shower is a walk-in rainfall type.
Bowness itself is busy, especially in season. It's right on the lake. You can get boat trips from there. The walk up Orrest Head is good, it starts in Windermere town just up the road. The view from the top shows you what the fuss is about.
You can drive to Ambleside or Grasmere in under half an hour. Kendal is about twenty minutes. For walking, you're right in the middle of it. The Lake District National Park site has good maps and ideas.
