Bowness Apartment 2
Bowness Apartment 2 is that ground floor flat just behind the main street in Bowness. It's an easy walk into the centre. You get one allocated parking space out the back.
It was all redone a couple of years ago, so everything's new. The kitchen is modern and open to the living area. There's a big sofa, one end of it reclines. The telly is large and has the usual apps like Netflix if you want to log in.
One bedroom with a kingsize bed. The bathroom has a walk-in rainfall shower. There are a few extra touches like a heated towel rail and lights you can change the colour of.
From there you can walk everywhere in Bowness. The lake is a few minutes away. For a good view, the walk up Orrest Head from Windermere is straightforward and gives you a classic Lake District panorama. It's where Wainwright started.
Ambleside is about ten minutes in the car, Grasmere maybe twenty. Kendal is fifteen minutes the other way. You're well placed for driving to different bits of the Lakes.
The flat is for two people, no pets. Bedding and towels are included. It has a 4 Star rating.
