Meadowcroft Cottage
Meadowcroft Cottage is in Storrs, Cumbria. It's a semi-detached cottage near Lake Windermere, about halfway along the eastern shore.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. One is a double, the other has two single beds. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's a 3 Star property, so it's clean and comfortable but not luxury. The parking is on site but you share the drive with the cottage next door.
The living area is open plan with a kitchen, dining table, and seating. The windows are big and let in a lot of light. The garden at the front is a lawned area for you to use.
You're in the Storrs Park area, which is quiet but only a short walk or drive from Bowness-on-Windermere. Bowness has shops, places to eat, and the lake. The Windermere steamer boats are nearby if you want a trip on the water.
For getting around, you're well placed. Ambleside and Grasmere are north, about a fifteen-minute drive. South takes you towards Newby Bridge. The car ferry to Hawkshead and Coniston is also close. The Lake District National Park website has good information for planning walks and visits.
The cottage has WiFi, a TV, and bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine. The entrance is wheelchair accessible, but I'd recommend checking the full details if that's a requirement. Sorry, no pets.
