Cloverley is a ground floor flat in Bowness. It's up the hill from the main village, so it's quieter than staying right in the middle. You get your own parking space, which is handy.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms and has one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well kept. The main thing is the view. You can see the lake from the living room and the balcony, especially in winter when the trees aren't in the way. The balcony is a nice spot.
There's a shared garden that slopes away from the building, so it feels quite open.
It's about a five or ten minute walk downhill to Bowness centre. There are shops, pubs and restaurants there. The nearest pub is about 400 yards away. For walks, you can head down to the lake shore or get more serious in the fells. The Lake District National Park site is good for route ideas.
Facilities wise, it's got everything you'd expect: WiFi, TV, a shower, and bedding is included. There's a place to store bikes if you bring them.
