Right, Cloverley. It's a ground floor apartment in Bowness. It's in a residential spot, up the hill from the village centre. The main thing is the view. You get a decent look at the lake from here, but honestly, it's mostly in the winter when the trees lose their leaves. The balcony is there to sit on, have a coffee.
It sleeps four, two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a four star rating. It's comfortable and clean. Because it's ground floor, there are no stairs to deal with, which some people like.
You have your own parking space right there. That's a big plus around here. The garden is shared and it slopes away, so it feels quite open.
It's about a five or ten minute walk downhill into Bowness. The walk back is uphill, just so you know. There's a pub and a shop a few minutes away. Bowness itself has all the usual cafes and shops. It's busy in season, but up here it's quieter.
It's a good spot for walking. You can walk down to the lake shore, or drive a short way for bigger walks. The Lake District National Park site has all the routes. Windermere is the next village over for more shops.
In terms of what's here: there's a TV, wifi, a washing machine. Bedding is included. There's a shower, no bath. You can store bikes. No pets, sorry.
If you're planning days out, National Trust Lake District has their properties nearby, like Fell Foot or Wray Castle.
