Woodside Cottage
Woodside Cottage is a barn conversion on the grounds of Merewood Lodge. It's between Ambleside and Windermere, so you're central to a lot of things.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bedroom is on the ground floor with its own shower. The main living space is upstairs, and it's all open plan: kitchen, dining, and sitting area. The stairs are standard, no odd steps. The second bedroom is on the top floor. You can have it as twins or a super king.
There's a decent sized garden and a deck with a view. You look over the rooftops towards Windermere and the fells.
Parking is for one car right by the cottage. There's visitor parking too if you need more.
The lane beside the property gives you direct access to walking and cycling paths. It's about a five minute walk to the Lake District Visitor Centre at Brockhole. They do water sports, boat hire, and have a café. There's a bus stop at the bottom of the road if you don't want to drive.
For shops and pubs, Ambleside and Windermere are each a couple of miles away. Bowness is close by too.
Included in the cottage: wifi, TV, a washing machine, dishwasher, bedding and towels. The kitchen has an induction hob and a double oven.
