It's called Lake View. It's in Bowness on Windermere. It's a second floor apartment in a modernish block called Quarry Rigg.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating, which basically means it's nice, comfortable, and well kept, not luxury.
The main thing is the location. You're right in the middle of Bowness. The shops, pubs, and places to eat are a minute's walk away. You also have an allocated parking space, which is useful because Bowness gets busy.
You can see the lake from the living room window. It's about a five or ten minute walk down to the water. You can get boats from there, or just look at it.
The apartment itself is tidy and functional. There's a decent sized living area, a small but fine kitchen with everything you'd need, and the bedrooms are comfortable. There's a TV with internet things, WiFi, and a washing machine. All bedding and towels are there.
The block is residential, so it can be quiet, but you are in a tourist town. You'll hear people in the street sometimes. The neighbours are generally fine.
For things to do, Bowness has the usual. Boat trips. Lots of walking. Ambleside, Hawkshead, and Grasmere are all within half an hour's drive for a different view. The World of Beatrix Potter is nearby if you have kids. For a bigger walk, National Trust places like Fell Foot are a short drive away.
If you want a proper big day out, the Lake District National Park site has all the walking routes and information. Grizedale Forest is about twenty minutes by car for mountain biking or treetop walks.
Facilities are all as listed. No pets. Everything is included.
