Church Street
Church Street is a cottage in Ambleside. It's a terrace house in the middle of the village. You're right on the street, but it's a quieter end.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star, so like the old description said, it's comfortable and clean. The living room has an open fire. The sofa is leather.
There's a small garden out the back. It gets the sun in the afternoon. There's a little bistro table and chairs out there.
The front door has no step, so it's accessible for wheelchairs or pushchairs to get in. But it's an old cottage, so the rooms inside are on different levels and the bathroom is upstairs.
You're very central. There's a shop and a pub about 50 yards away. A restaurant is about 100 yards.
For walks, you can step out the door and be on Loughrigg or Wansfell in minutes. The lake is a five minute walk. You can get the boats from Waterhead.
If you're driving, Grasmere is about ten minutes. Keswick is maybe half an hour. The coast at Ulverston or Grange-over-Sands is about 45 minutes.
The cottage has WiFi and a TV. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We allow up to two dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
