Fellside Studio

This is Fellside Studio in Clappersgate. It's a ground-floor studio for two people. It's open plan, so the living space, kitchen and bed are all in one room. There's a separate bathroom off it.

It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything's on one level, which is good if you've got mobility issues or just don't want stairs. The door is wide enough for a wheelchair and there's parking right by the property.

Inside, it's one big room with a high ceiling and beams. Lots of light from the skylights. There's a kingsize bed at one end, a sofa, a small dining table and a kitchen area with what you'll need. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over it. We provide the bedding and towels. There's a washing machine too.

Outside your door there's a little cobbled area with a seat. Directly across the road is a shared garden that goes right down to the River Brathay. There's more seating there and some grass. If you're bringing a canoe or kayak, there are hooks to tie it to.

You're in Clappersgate, which is a small place. Ambleside is about a mile away. You can walk it if you want. Ambleside has all the usual Lake District shops, pubs, and places to eat. Hawkshead is a short drive from here, maybe ten minutes.

You're right in the Lake District National Park. For walking, you've got Loughrigg Fell practically on the doorstep. For a bigger day out, the Langdale Pikes aren't far. Windermere is about three miles away if you want to get on the water.

No pets, sorry. The Wi-Fi is decent.
