Rolton House
Rolton House is in Ambleside. It's about a five minute walk into the centre, which is handy. You can see Loughrigg Fell from the front.
It's a modern place, sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bedroom has its own shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well kitted out.
The living room is big, with French doors out to the garden. The garden is enclosed, so it's safe for kids. The kitchen is open plan with a dining area. There's a separate little snug room too, which is useful if people want different spaces.
There's a shop and a restaurant about 250 yards away. A pub is 200 yards. The pub does food. For the lake, the Ambleside (Waterhead) pier is a ten minute walk. You can get the cruise boats from there.
Grasmere and Rydal are a short drive. Bowness is about ten minutes in the car. You can get the bus too, the stop is close by.
For facilities: it has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair. Parking is on site. No pets, sorry.
