Rolton House
Rolton House is in Ambleside. It's a stone house on a normal street, near the middle of town. It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One of them is an en-suite.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well looked after. The living room is a good size and has French doors out to the garden. The garden is enclosed, so it's private. You can sit out there.
The kitchen is open plan with a dining area. There's a separate snug room as well, which is handy if some people want to watch something different on TV.
The house is about a five minute walk into the centre of Ambleside. There are shops, cafes, and restaurants. A local pub is about 200 yards away. The shop is about 250 yards.
You can walk straight from the door onto the fells. Loughrigg is right there. The boat cruise terminal at Waterhead is a ten minute walk down the road.
Grasmere is a ten minute drive. Bowness and Windermere are about fifteen minutes. Rydal is even closer. You're right in the middle of everything here.
Facilities are all there: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on the drive for one, maybe two small cars if you park carefully. We provide a cot and a highchair. Sorry, no pets.
