Riversdale
Riversdale is a house in Grasmere. It sleeps eight. There are four bedrooms and each one has its own bathroom.
It was done up a few years ago. The kitchen is modern. There's a wood burner in the living room. The garden is enclosed.
It's next to a stream. You can hear the water running. The garden looks out towards the fells. There's parking for your car.
The stairs are fine. No steep cottage stairs here, it's all on one level apart from the bedrooms being upstairs.
You can walk into Grasmere village easily. There's a pub a few minutes away. The village has cafes and shops, including the gingerbread shop. For a longer walk, Helm Crag or Easedale Tarn are good starts from the door.
Within half an hour you can drive to Ambleside, Keswick, or Langdale. The Lake District National Park site has walking routes. For historic houses, National Trust Lake District has several, like Wordsworth House in Cockermouth.
It has a five star rating. That means it's well equipped. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. It's a practical place for a group.
