Three Fells is an apartment in Ambleside. It's for two people. The name comes from the view. You can see the fells from the main windows.
It's got a three star rating. That means it's comfortable and everything works, but don't expect anything luxurious. It's a good, solid base.
You get in via an external staircase. It's not a problem, but it's stairs. The terrace and garden are yours to use. The garden slopes a bit and has lots of plants in it.
The apartment is right in the village. You can walk to everything in a few minutes: shops, cafes, pubs. If you don't feel like cooking, you've got plenty of choice.
For walking, you can just step outside and go. There are easy walks from the door and harder ones if you drive a little way. You're well placed for the bus if you want to go walking somewhere else without using the car.
Windermere lake is close. You can get on the steamers from Waterhead, which is about a twenty minute walk, or drive to Bowness. For other things, Grasmere is about ten minutes by car, Keswick is maybe twenty five minutes. The National Trust has a few properties nearby, like Townend and Fell Foot.
Inside there's one bedroom and one bathroom. It's got a TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and parking for one car. No pets allowed.
