Corner Cottage

Corner Cottage is in Troutbeck Bridge, just on the edge of Windermere village. It's a detached house. It sleeps up to 12 people, which I know is a bit unusual. There are four bedrooms and they all have their own bathrooms.

The place has been completely done up. It's a 4 Star, so it's in good nick. The kitchen is large and has enough stuff for everyone. There's a separate dining room, a living room with an open fire, and a conservatory that looks out onto the garden. The garden is enclosed.

You're very close to Windermere village, about a quarter of a mile to the shops and a pub. Bowness and Ambleside are a short drive away. The shore of Lake Windermere is only a few minutes down the road.

For things to do, you're right in the middle of it. Brockhole, the visitor centre, is nearby. You can get the ferry to Belle Isle from Bowness. Hill Top, Beatrix Potter's old house, is at Far Sawrey. The whole area is good for walking, cycling, or just driving around to see the scenery.

Facilities wise, it's all there. Parking on site, WiFi, a washing machine, a dishwasher. It's family friendly, we've got a cot, highchair and stairgate. We allow up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included.
