Haystacks
Haystacks is in Storrs, just outside Bowness-on-Windermere. It's a semi-detached cottage. You have a private parking space.
It sleeps four, maybe five if one is a child. Three bedrooms upstairs: one double, one twin, and a small room with a single bed. There's one bathroom with a shower over the bath.
It's a 15 to 20 minute walk down the hill into Bowness centre. You can leave the car if you want. It's far enough back to be quiet, but you can still walk to the pubs and shops.
The living room and kitchen are open plan. It's tidy and clean. You've got a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included.
Outside, there's a patio area with a table and chairs. There's storage for bikes.
You're on the edge of the fells here. Good walking starts from the door. For a longer drive, you're about half an hour from places like Grasmere or Coniston. The Lake District National Park site is useful for planning walks. The National Trust looks after a lot of the land around here too.
