Bowness Apartment
This is Bowness Apartment. It's on a residential street in Bowness on Windermere. You can walk to the lakefront or the shops in a few minutes.
It's an apartment, so it's part of a bigger building. But it's all yours while you're there. There's parking for one car. It was done up a few years ago. It sleeps five, with three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The main living space is open plan. That means the kitchen, dining area, and sitting room are all in one room. It's good for being together.
The Beatrix Potter attraction is very close, just down the hill. The town has lots of shops and places to eat. The pier for the boat trips is about a ten minute walk. You can get the steamer to Ambleside or down to Lakeside. The Lakes Aquarium is at Lakeside, and you can get the steam train from there too.
For walking, you can start from the door. There's a path along to Windermere, or you can drive out to the fells. National Trust Lake District has good information on walks and places to visit. Ambleside, Grasmere, and Coniston are all within a half hour drive.
It has a dishwasher and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a local pub within a quarter of a mile. No pets, sorry.
