The Stable View is a one bedroom flat in Bowness. It's on the ground floor of a stone house. You can get in without any steps, which is handy. It sleeps two.
Inside, it's what you'd expect for a 4 Star place. It's comfortable, clean, and everything works. The living room has doors that open onto a small private balcony. You can sit out there with a drink. You look right out towards the lake, which is the point of it. The kitchen is open to the dining bit.
You're very close to the middle of Bowness. The main street with all the shops, cafes, and places to eat is maybe a two minute walk. There's a pub about a hundred yards away. It's useful.
Because you're right in Bowness, you can walk to the lake shore in minutes. The steamer pier is there. You can get a boat to Ambleside or down to Lakeside without moving your car. The Beatrix Potter attraction is a short walk away, if that's your sort of thing.
The flat has WiFi and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. It's all on one level and the entrance is step-free. There's no dedicated parking, but there are public car parks nearby. You should factor that cost in.
For a wider day out, you're right in the middle of everything. Grasmere, Coniston, and Langdale are all within about a half hour drive. Good walks start from your door, or you can drive a little way to get onto the fells proper.
