Cosy Nook
This is Cosy Nook in Ambleside. It's a terraced cottage, three stories tall, so there are quite a few stairs. They're normal cottage stairs, just be aware of them. There's parking for one car right outside.
It sleeps four in two double bedrooms. One bedroom is on the first floor with the main bathroom, the other is up another flight of stairs on the top floor with its own ensuite shower room. The layout is open plan on the ground floor. There's a kitchen area, a fold-out table for eating, and places to sit. It's a 3 Star place, which means it's comfortable and clean.
You're tucked away in a quiet part of Ambleside, but it's only a few minutes' walk to get into the middle of town. All the shops, cafes, and pubs are right there. A local pub is about half a mile.
For walks, you can get straight onto the fells from here. Wansfell is right there. For the lake, Waterhead pier is close by where you can get cruises on Windermere. You’re in the middle of everything.
Within a half hour drive you've got Grasmere, Coniston Water, and Hawkshead. Keswick and the northern lakes are a bit further, maybe 40 minutes.
It has WiFi and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a shower. No pets, sorry.
