Strawberries And Cream
Strawberries and Cream is a flat in the middle of Bowness. It's been done up recently. From the living room window you can see a bit of the lake and the hills.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The location is the main thing. You're right in the village. The shop and a pub are about ten steps away. To get to the lake for the ferry trips, it's a short walk down to the landing stage.
If you're bringing kit, I've got a garage space you can use for bikes or kayaks. You can also hire four mountain bikes and a paddle board from me if you arrange it beforehand.
For things to do, you can walk from the door. You can get the ferry across the lake. For a day out, the Lake District National Park site has walking routes and information. The National Trust looks after a lot of the local land and houses.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a dishwasher, a TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need one. Parking is on site. No pets.
