Glenmore Cottage
Glenmore Cottage is in Ambleside. It's a terraced cottage, stone built, about a hundred years old like most of them round here. It's a short, level walk into the middle of town, but it's quiet where it is.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The stairs are typical for a cottage of this age.
You can walk to a lot from here. Rothay Park or down to Lake Windermere is an easy stroll. For the fells, you can start straight from the door. You don't really need the car if you don't want to use it.
There's private parking for two cars at the back. The front garden is small and enclosed. Down in the basement, there are two games rooms with table tennis, darts, and a small snooker table.
For facilities, it's got what you'd expect: a woodburner, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
