Warner Lea is a terraced cottage in Bowness on Windermere. It's in a quiet, older part of the village, about five minutes' walk from the shops and the lake.
It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything is clean and well-kept. There's a woodburning stove in the front room, which is nice in the evening.
You can walk to most things. The local pub, a few restaurants, and the boat landings are all about 400 yards away. The main town of Windermere is a mile up the road if you need a bigger supermarket.
For getting out, you're right there. You can walk down to the lake shore from the cottage. Or drive a short way. Ambleside is about ten minutes by car. Coniston and Grasmere are within twenty minutes. The car ferry across the lake is nearby, which is a useful shortcut to Hawkshead and near Beatrix Potter's house.
The cottage has a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's parking for one car on the little drive at the front. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. It has WiFi and a TV.
