Treetops
Treetops is a town house in the middle of Bowness. It's modern, not a traditional cottage. You're right in the town, so everything is a short walk away.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. The layout is over three floors. There are two separate living rooms, which is useful if you want some space apart. The main living area is on the top floor and opens onto a decent-sized balcony. You can sit out there.
Being central means it's close to all the shops, cafes, and restaurants in Bowness. Lake Windermere is a five minute walk. You can get to the steamer piers from there. If you want to hire a boat or just walk by the water, it's very straightforward.
Facilities: it has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for one car on site. Bedding is included. There's a cot and highchair available. No pets.
For walking, you've got plenty of options from the door. For bigger days out, the Lake District National Park site has all the information. The National Trust looks after a lot of the local land and houses too, like Hill Top and Wray Castle.
